30 Jan 2013 19:27:43 Can not see us recruiting any more with experiece. Think they will be 23 and under. However if 2 out of 3 of O'Grady, Madine and Maguire go out on loan every chance we could get one of strikers recently mentioned.
30 Jan 2013 15:00:55 Who cares, I would rather have money spent on team. Is this another moan from same negative person. I know you wanted to run club as a Wednesdayite, just accept you messed up and can not move on. I think more attempted sarcasm, give this chap a break, we can have laughs and moans but appreciate it could be worse, we could wear the red and white colours losing to yeovil week in and out uto xxxx More important how much did we get for beevers ^ Brilliant. Agreed. Just a joke lads calm down haha Score board going spare at don valley
30 Jan 2013 13:58:50 'wasn't good enough' open your eyes mate he had clear quality and worked his socks off whenever he got a chance Eyes open. Still wasn't good enough.
30 Jan 2013 12:55:38 No idea bud think they just make the rules up as they go on. You need to read Premier League handbook Section V and Football League rule book. Helan is 20, says 22 on SWFC website but that's incorrect (quality admin haha)
30 Jan 2013 11:18:52 Poor guy, even when he does well you slate him. Stop being so negative we are lucky to have MM and DJ and a Club with NO debts What a load of rubbish. Deluded DJ hater, any more last minute transfer tips mate? I find it amazing they can not accept overall he has done a good job. Selective information is used to try and unsettle fans. I did not see any posts on here saying sign Helan before he came to club. Kirkland, Gardner, Lee, McCabe, Lita (and Antonio made permenant) all look good signings. Jones did well to get us promoted (big thanks to see Evans too). He goes home on Saturday evenings. He spends 5 days a week in Sheffield sometimes more if 2 games. May come back Monday and go home Wedesday and return on Thursday. Who cares? With today's technology I can imagine he manages to stay in touch and delegate. You sound like Craig David. How do you know DJ's weekly routine? DJ turned up on Tuesday
30 Jan 2013 10:33:13 Id rather play for hallam then in pigsty lol uto xxxx ftb xxx If I'm honest I don't think Blades would be interested in Madine in the slightest, and I don't think Madine would be too interested in playing for them either.
30 Jan 2013 10:02:28 Definitely.
30 Jan 2013 08:22:14 Either of these two would have disrupted the squad that seems to be back together again - now you know who has gone! Probably means that we are then after Helan incident - I know we offered 2 players for Goodwillie so I don't think that one is dead yet How do you know we offered 2 players for goodwillie? Are you another one who has " connections" within the club?
29 Jan 2013 21:09:58
29 Jan 2013 20:33:42 Confirmed on owls website great news! Awesome. Great news now we really have a chance to kick on, that really is some speed up front now, next 2 games both winnable and that would see us move up the table UTO eric the owl Fast as lightening, damn ain't that frightening? Tee hee.
29 Jan 2013 19:54:35
29 Jan 2013 10:36:38 He, s another who said he dint want to join us a coupla seasons ago Do not like him as a player.
29 Jan 2013 10:31:46 Please give me some of the stuff you're on mate you had a bang on the head. Obvious our lead poster on this thread had talent similar to Messi but missed his way. Only a foold would prnounce somebody good or bad having watched a players highlights on a you tube clip.
29 Jan 2013 00:05:41 Paul Corry is a good prospect for futer Maguire never played! Next time you post something like this. Make sure you know your team!! McGuire has played a few matches. Never produced much. Meaningless post.
28 Jan 2013 19:14:40 Yes we are, and a good post. The negs are proper arses. Absolutely agree with secod post. I am not interested in ANY other team than Wednesday Daft post above from one of the negatives. Not sure what they want, DJ comes across as reasonable bloke to me. Would love to know if he was one of the Wedesdayite brotherhood who helped take us to brink. ^^ The guy is absolutely clueless. Although, I am sure it's a stealth Blunt. The great Brian clough dint spend every day at club. He trusted his staff. Dj is no clough but if we continue to improve wot difference does it make if he only works 3 days a week. And you can bet he works from home also A stealthy blunt, I get impression of Trigger in a dirty raincoat. With some of commets made by Trigger thought they had fitted him with Blinkers. Where would we be without gray, everyone thinks jones is doing it on his own, give gray some credit please. Just like every footy manager really. Coaching staff counts for a lot. Stuart Gray is the reason we have picked up, he is the brains behind organising us as a team I agree Stuart Gray has made us into a team Who brought Gray to club, oh it was Dave Jones who knew him from previous job. I could'nt care less as long as we re winning and and at the moment we re winning and doing well of late so i'm happy. original poster has a point if we was still same off as before christmas but we re not on we ve made a few good signings, so shut up be happy and support your team
28 Jan 2013 14:57:58 Do you think we should of gone for scotland? owls about that? Nope, Lita would have been a better prospect.
28 Jan 2013 13:00:19 But if Burton was so good and Gray is making us click what the hell does Dave Jones actually do? He comes up to Sheffield on thursday and goes back home after the match home and away. The only thing dj does is blame everyone else when it go's wrong. UTO. Runing a football team is more than a one man job. Like DJ but you can not see him on training pitch to demostrate his ideas. Think that is where problems where. Players are now playing their position instead of where they felt like it. Only one not doing so is Reda but when he turns up at centre forward and scores you can forgive that. Reda absence was also a factor look at results when he's played against when he is absent. So what we are discussing here is then that Stuart Gray takes training, does formations and practices set pieces attacking and defending Management is all about delegation. Blunts in disguise. The only thing you do is blame DJ when it goes right. Talking Rubbish it's all about team work Ask the Wolves fans as well Being a manager is easy made play offs wi owls on football manager so don't anyone tell me its hard, lol I bet Fergie tells his coaches what to do and he works 6 days a week and you see him at training Nope, he knows his limitations and is surrounding himself with competent staff. I posyted what the DJ knocker would find to grumble at and low ad behold the teacake has come up with a part time slant. Never heard such rubbish. Yep, I agreed.
28 Jan 2013 07:32:22 Probley 2 quid? x
27 Jan 2013 19:49:19 Brisn Howard? No thanx. Good a few yrs ago at Barnsley but done nowt for a long time. He couldn t even make his mark wiv the blunts so that must tell you somethin. Hope mcallister finds a club, good genuine trier The players you've mentioned are the players we should be avoiding. They would be after one last pay packet and even in there prime they was'nt even that good. You would be the worst scout ever. Have to agree that these are players we should avoid. I prefer players who are wanting to advance careers and have something to play for. Very small percenatge of those at end of career give everything and like last post looking for a bit of a final pay off.
27 Jan 2013 13:42:33 Don't count your chickens we might end up with both yet That would be good if we had them both
27 Jan 2013 09:21:44 Excellent comment I've always said stick with DJ he will turn it around goes to show what a bit of a good run does for us he's the best man for the job so all the DJ moaners you know who you are will you put one word on your next comment SORRY, ME OWD THE OWL WTID , we'll said. Doubt they would be man enough for that. Well said I was all for DJ when he was appointed thought he was the best man for job but end of November il admit I thought it was time for him to go as it seemed like he had lost the dressing room but credit to MM he stuck by him and its now paying off with recent results! So to MM & DJ i'm SORRY Well I have not been happy with a lot of things that have happened this season, and I have had my share of knocking DJ but he does seem to be turning it around and that is the important thing so I am quite happy to eat humble pie and say sorry, but I have also said I don't think we would go down we might moan but never lose the faith eric the owl UTO Dave Jones will NEVER be a good manager so long as he's got an hole in his A$$!!! Well done mr gray another good result uto Do we know what the huge changes are behind the scenes. I'm not a DJ fan and I've criticised him a lot this season. Wednesday have done best when he's had an able coach to help him so I draw my own conclusions from that. Think the architect of anti wednesday comments has revealed his true colours with post above. Think we all knew he was a weed or blunt. I don't think we are out of the woods yet but recent results have been impressive but ill apologise wen we are safe an not until wtid Transparent mate. Seventeen points out of last 8 games only Cardiff with better return in the division. That level of form is guaranteed promotion level so extremely impressive. If we were coming from better base we would be in for play offs. Have read other teams blogs and their comments on Wednesday have chaged dramatically over last month, we are now earning respect. Thanks mate agree I've had a few moans but most of it is just passion for the club I have always loved, We have had some bad fortune over the last few years but, the wheel turns round and hopefully that is all behind us now and we can look forward and move on to better things UTO eric the owl
27 Jan 2013 09:05:55 Do you mean Gary Megson, an Owl who has played for, managed and supported the Owls all his life! You are correct Megson deserves respect, and has always given his all. You highlighted his major weakness he is subjective rather than objective in his dealings with Wednesday which led to his downfall. Also the bit about players brought in is overdone.

27 Jan 2013 00:55:04 Earnshaw has been past sell by date for several years. Agree he was once good but so was Boothroyd, Jeffers etc.
26 Jan 2013 17:43:58 Yes, maybe the best result of the season so far. Why mention Boothroyd? Are we gettin any other players this month any info Yes 2 yougsters according to DJ plus a couple going other way. Marcos lopez. "Why mention Boothroyd?"..................My guess would be because that was part of his point?. If I remember rightly i'm sure jones said he was after 2 strikers in rotherham star. What positions are the youngsters any names and I prese they'll be loans Boothroyd was a pointless analogy and made commet sound like grudging praise. No names just said 2, I suspect one will be a forward and Man City players good guess. Lopez already linked and he would be great. Who's this Marcos Lopez were after if he's any good we won't get him Marcos lopes 17 think he's portugese winger of some sort. well some form of midfielder, apperently a sprinter? who man city bought at 16 but needs him to gain experiance is tipped to be the next ronaldo if given the playing time. maybe. Marco lopez doubt 2 strikers And lopez lm/lw Apparently can't sign Lopez needs to be 18 to go out on loan
26 Jan 2013 17:11:04 I totally agree. Mccarthey always bin vastly overrated.naver wanted him uto Just goes to show how little they know. Brilliant. Unhappy they are wrong. That was my opinion also mate. To be fair though I think Ipswich was a tougher job than wednesday to turn round. I think a lot of us got hot under the collar about Bothroyd It wasn't the signing of Bothroyd that was the problem it was DJ's picking him week after deplorable week, when DJ saw he didn't want to play he should have left him out of squad. You don't know why he was been picked. Don't really care what arrangements were in place with QPR, our club and our results come first. Then he should have ripped up the contract, he cost us valuable points, we could have been mid-table pushing for play-offs, bad buisness practise if a player can ho;d a team to ransom like that How bitter can you really be, to still be going on about Bothroyd? Very bitter, because what Bothroyd did was, still is, and will be until the end of the season, very pertinent to our position in the league, now, and for the remainder of the season, he cost us valuable points or do think differently If you sign a contract you have to honour it and yes we had to pick him if he was fit. We agreed to this because QPR paid vast majority of his wages. Also the vast majority who post on Wednesday thought he was a great signing a few have come on here and admitted this. So grow up use your brain and realise situation. Look at DJ comments when he went back certainly says he was not satisfied. If we broke contractual arrangements sanctions could be imposed on club and recruiting other players going forward would be a nightmare. Also to reduce overheads DJ decided not to replace TB but promote PW. This is his poorest decision and he corrected by brining in SG. It is difficult to demote your mate you promoted and shows he his prepared to make extremely difficult decisions. Respect. Great post.
26 Jan 2013 12:50:03 Brilliant mate, fit tho` int she ?? wawa She lokks different every time Personally would go extra mile for Sara. What? . Sarah lives 4 miles away. They must think Pleat is still our manager. ^ brilliant post I prefer the single mum! Disappointed tho this morning as she's been switched to a graze box.
26 Jan 2013 12:27:11 Not yet but he will do
26 Jan 2013 09:23:08 Chin up owls fans at least rebecca is only 3 miles away Rebecca? Being a weed or a blunt you probably prefer Parky. I prefer Sarah
