Jermaine Johnson and Antonio were both very good in bursts, but were definitely erratic.

Beevers and Llera yet again looked very good together, with Llera the obvious hero of the day; we did give away two very soft goals though, something we clearly need to work on.

McCabe had very bad set piece delivery today, I hope he can improve that area. Madine was rubbish again, a bit better than last match, but still crap, far too static, and Rodri's performance suffered because of this.

Ratings,

Kirkland - Was consistent and did his job.
Buxton - Has improved with games, this best game so far this season.
Reda Johnson - worked hard but a couple of defensive lapses.
Llera - Best game of season capped by 2 goals.
Beevers - Had a defensive lapse in secnd half but otherwise secure.
J Johnson - Tremendous goal went missing afterwards but was a threat whenever on ball.
McCabe - Clever performance and alot of good work on and off ball.
Semedo - Not quite in stride this game, did not exert usual control in midfield but kept going and gave opponents a game.
Antonio - Looked sharper today and delivered numerous good crosses.
Madine - was out muscled by centre halves, touch looked ok.
Rodri - Did not have same understanding with madine as showed with O'Grady, lovely control and is smart player.
O'Grady - Had huge impact on game and ruffled centre halves with a powerful robust display.

My wishlist mostly comprises folks I DON'T want us to sign. Nathan Tyson's done sod all at Forest and he turned us down before, he's too mercenary to play with the kind of commitment Megson claims to want from his players. The same goes for Koumas; in his head, he's still a premier league/ championship player so even if we could persuade him to come, he would very quickly lose the motivation to play in League One and would be another flop like Gary Teale.
Getting Joey O'Brien back would be a bad move, he did alright in his first spell all those years ago but we should be looking forward, not back.
Chris O'Grady is not good enough. End of.
We should get shot of Teale, even if we have to sack him and pay compensation, just get him out. The same goes for Reynolds and Michael Morrison.
I'm happy with the current squad and I reckon it only needs a few additions. Last year I reckoned we needed another keeper to challenge Weaver but Jameson and O'Donnell have done so well, I reckon we're alright now.
We could do with maybe getting Batth in on a season-longer and signing one more defender, maybe Tony McMahon or Eddie Nolan bringing back Osbourne and Miller (unlikely I know but still).
Ricardo Gardner would be a good signing and I reckon it's doable, as he's mates with both JJ and Megson. Plus another winger, maybe Danny Green.
It would be nice to see Mellor back in but it wouldn't be a disaster not to have him. ALF probably won't come and I don't think Craig Davies is a good idea, but Ryan Lowe would be a quality signing along with a younger striker to mix things up a bit, someone like Raheem Sterling on loan from Liverpool or Jordan Rhodes/ Lee Novak from Huddersfield.

So, that would see my squad being:

Weaver, Jameson, O'Donnell and Cuff.

Spurr, Buxton, Beevers, R. Jones, R. Johnson, Batth (on loan), Otsemobor, D. Jones, Nyoni and McMahon or Nolan.
