21 May 2013 09:10:06 I was told by an ex player that it is comment knowledge at Hillsbro that it's Milan that doesn't want COG playing for Wednesday and therefore Jones doen't want hime playing for Wednesday. Milan told Megson that he didn't want COG to play for Wednesday, they had a big row about it and is the reason Megson was sacked. Course Megson was sacked because of that! Ha your having a laugh, he got sacked because we wasn't playing well and was losing too many games under him! Have a word wi your self pal Just wonder what CO'G did to upset Milan so much? Makes you wonder. Why sign him? Why would Milan care who plays for Wednesday - all he cares about is us succeeding! Besides, it was Milan that put up the cash for him in the first place. Lita and cog would be a great strike force If DJ let's cog go and keeps Steve Howard he wants his head looking at nothing against howard He wants to go, so we should let him. Sometimes players just fit in better at certain clubs. Make barnsley pay the going rate they got a million from cup run so their fans are spouting off. Going rate is a 200-300 k The reality is COG is not a glamorous player but he can be effective in the right formation against certain teams. To be fair to him he has scored goals with limited opportunities in championship with us and he is a trier. Hope we don't sign Sylvan Ebanks-Blake he was crap last season, he looked disinterested when he played against us and has had a broken leg late on his playing career, step backwards me thinks. Knowing the type of striker Jones likes sign (Bothroyd, Sidibe, Howard) he will probably go for old over the hill Ebanks-Blake who was good a few years ago but was rubbish last season and broke his leg, which at his time of life as a footballer is not good. If he goes Jones for him we are going nowhere. SEB scored 14 in a team that quite clearly struggled this year. Obviously a broken ankle would be a concern, but if he can regain his fitness I think he could do well for us but I can't see it happening due to his injury as he wouldn't be ready for quite a while. 17 May 2013 14:54:52 Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, Stephen Hunt and Christophe Berra have been released by Wolves following the club's slide into npower League One. I was impressed by Helan when he first arrived but as a full back he makes mistakes and as a winger he rarely scores or sets up goals. however he is still young. I think we can do better. Jay Simpson is on a free too I think he'd be a good signing Lita might be lazy, but he will score us at least 15 goals, and if that manager has any sense whatsoever? then he will stick maguire upfront with him to do the dirty work! so no on blake. but berra is just what we need. Looked at Matt greens stats and he's got 40 goals in 62 appearances for Mansfield. Maybe that's because it's a lower league but surely he isn't a bad player with these stats Matt green had 1 good year in l2 not going to be scoring 40 in 62 in championship might be decent squad player but that it not starting and i'd want seb but he's injured Id say vardy is a champ player and he got bout 30 so this green could be aa quality champ player Take a good look at Adam LeFondre, we didn't sign him because we didn't think he'd do a job in championship, look what he's done at Reading. Still, no guarantee that they want to stay! We only scraped through because of the bad run we had, without that who knows what could have happened.

You only get the odd gem who looks the complete deal at such a young age every couple of years when they leave a prem team or have slipped under the prem scouts radar. let's keep it real, with how little we look like spending we may have to rely on bringing through our own youth even though "they will never be good enough for the championship" lol. UTO, in Jones we trust. I have been to every home game and many away game’s, I have only seen Corry, McCabe and Mayor on a handful of occasions and have not seen Palmer at all during the last season. So how may I ask, have you seen enough of these players to make such a damming judgement on their ability, they are young players who might not be ready yet for the Championship but to write them off without having seen them is stupid. With your excellent and unrivalled knowledge of football why have you not been appointed the new Man U. chief scout?
